Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about accessing BlackOps Market, security protocols, payment processing, and order management.
Getting Started
This website is an informational directory and verification portal for BlackOps Market. We provide PGP-verified onion links, security tutorials, and status updates. We are not the marketplace itself; we are a resource to help users access the platform safely and avoid phishing attempts.
To access BlackOps Market, you must use the Tor Browser. Standard browsers like Chrome or Firefox cannot resolve .onion addresses. Download Tor Browser from the official project site, install it, and use one of the verified links found on our Links page. Never trust hidden service links from unverified sources.
You should always verify links using the market's official PGP key. Official mirrors will be signed. On the login page, verify the PGP signature provided against the public key you have stored. Never trust links from unverified sources like wikis or forums without checking the signature yourself.
Security & Privacy
Yes, PGP encryption is mandatory. You must have a PGP key pair generated before registering. You will need it to decrypt your 2FA login challenge, encrypt your shipping address, and communicate with vendors. This ensures that even if the server is compromised, your data remains secure.
While possible, it is generally not recommended by the Tor Project as it can introduce new attack vectors or fingerprinting risks. A correctly configured Tor Browser on the 'Safest' security setting is usually sufficient. For advanced security, use Tails OS.
If you lose your password but have your PGP key, you may be able to reset it via PGP verification. However, if you lose your Withdrawal PIN or your mnemonic seed (if provided during signup), funds locked in your account may be permanently inaccessible. Security is user-managed; admins cannot recover accounts without proof of ownership via PGP.
Payments & Escrow
BlackOps Market operates exclusively with Monero (XMR). This policy is strictly enforced to ensure maximum privacy for all users. Monero uses ring signatures, RingCT, and stealth addresses to obfuscate transaction details, unlike Bitcoin which has a transparent ledger.
Monero deposits require 10 confirmations on the blockchain before being credited to your balance. This typically takes between 20 to 40 minutes depending on network speed. Do not panic if it doesn't appear instantly; this is a security feature to prevent double-spending attacks.
When you place an order, your XMR is held in the market's escrow wallet. The vendor is notified to ship the item. Once you receive the item and finalize the order, the funds are released to the vendor. If you do not finalize or dispute within the auto-finalize period (usually 7-14 days), funds may be automatically released.
Finalize Early (FE) is a privilege granted to top-tier vendors with over 300 sales and a 4.90+ rating. For FE orders, funds are released to the vendor immediately upon marking the order as shipped. This carries higher risk for the buyer and should only be used with extremely trusted vendors.
Support & Rules
If an order has not arrived or is not as described, you can open a dispute from the order page before the auto-finalize timer runs out. This freezes the escrow. You and the vendor will have a chat to resolve the issue. If no agreement is reached, an admin will review evidence and make a binding decision.
BlackOps Market strictly prohibits child exploitation material, human trafficking services, murder-for-hire, weapons/firearms, explosives, and fentanyl or related dangerous substances. The harm reduction policy is strictly enforced and vendors violating this are banned.
Support can be contacted through the ticket system located in your user dashboard on the market. Do not use external emails or messaging apps to discuss sensitive account details. Always encrypt sensitive messages to support using the market's PGP key if sharing sensitive data.
